Below is summary of meeting minutes during the design of Single Sampling Plan. Three people attended this meeting. These are the supplier, consumer, and inspector.
The consumer said that “if the fraction of the incoming shipment is less than or equal to 0.01, I will consider the shipment as a “GOOD SHIPMENT”
After a long discussion, they agreed that the bad shipment is the shipment with probability of having nonconforming item greater than or equal 0.13.
The supplier and consumers are agreed to assign 0.05 and 0.10 to the values of their risk, respectively.
Kindly, use the above information to complete the following tasks a- Outline the OC-Curve of the potential sampling plan (only shows the important points; see the last page on the lecture). b- Design a single sampling plan (find c and n).
c- Develop the full OC curve of the above plan. Use at least 5 points on the X-axis
(five values of the fraction of nonconforming) d- What is the probability of accepting a lot with P=0.005 using the above sampling plan. Show your results on the figure developed above.
What is the probability of accepting a lot with P=0.07 using the above sampling plan. Show your results on the figure developed above.
What is the probability of accepting a lot with P=0.15 using the above sampling plan. Show your results on the figure developed above.
on the off chance that the part of the approaching shipment is not exactly or equivalent to 0.01, at that point the shipment as a "Decent SHIPMENT".
Likewise, the likelihood of having nonconforming thing more noteworthy than or approach 0.13, at that point the shipment is terrible shipment.
What's more, The provider and customers are consented to dole out 0.05 and 0.10 to the estimations of their hazard, individually.
a]
AQL: Acceptable quality level: This is the quality level of good part. It is rate flawed that can be viewed as palatable as a procedure normal, and speaks to a level of value which the maker needs acknowledged with high likelihood of acknowledgment.
Assume if \alpha if the maker hazard, at that point the AQL is 100(1 - \alpha)%, and we have given provider (maker) chance 0.05.
So AQL = 100(1 - 0.05)% = 95% and maker hazard \alpha= 0.05.
b]
LTPD: Lot Tolerance Proportion or Percentage Defective: Is the parcel quality which is thought to be awful by the buyer. The purchaser isn't willing to acknowledge parcels having extent blemished or more noteworthy.
Here we have given that the likelihood of having nonconforming thing more noteworthy than or rise to 0.13, at that point the shipment is awful shipment.
Along these lines, LTPD = 0.13 and Consumer hazard = 0.10
