World supply and demand for food is important for Nations because for boosting the agricultural sector,for economic growth and job creation leading to poverty reduction, for having a control on food prices, for trade opportunities, for improved health and healthcare, for increase global security and stability. Secure supply food and demand is necessary.

World supply and demand for food and prospect moving forward to 2050 is the combination of food availability, food access and food utilisation. Food availability must be available in sufficient quantities and on a consistent basis.food access means people must be able to regularly acquire adequate quantities of food through purchase, Home production, bater ,gifts, borrowing or food aid. Where as food utilisation consumed food must have a positive nutritional impact on people.
