10/2 = 5

5th data value = x

(10/2) + 1 = 6

6th data value = x + 2

Median = (5th + 6th) data values/2

= (x + x + 2)/2

Thus, (2x + 2)/2 = 63 {from the given}

2(x + 1)/2 = 63

x + 1 = 63

x = 62


The value of x is 62.
