can someone explain why this is wrong: The proportion of middle-aged males and middle-aged females who have committed suicide in 1999 are even and equal (P1=P2). and can you include the Confidence interval, Critical Z, and P-Value?

Either you didn't give percentage of confidence interval or the value of level of significance to test the hypothesis. So I assumed it's 95% . You can take as your wishes just follow the method and go through it. Do yourself. If you will face any difficulties you can ask me.
