I would like to choose the topic- how can I apply Psychology to my future life-

Psychology is considered as a Science that studies behaviour and mind. Psychologists conduct researches on different aspects of human behaviour including motivation,emotion, learning, personality, perception etc. It also studies about intelligence and brain functioning. Human behaviour is greatly studied by Psychologists. Human behaviour and his social relations are main parts of psychological studies.

Psychology is not only a subject that is studied by students, professors or psychologists. Psychology has an important role in our daily life. It includes the formation of our personality and behaviour. When people think about psychology, they have the opinion that it is a science that deal with mental problems, behavioural problems, family or work related problems but it has a vast applicability in our present and future life. We can apply these suggestions to make our future life better with the help of psychology-

  • Psychology keeps you motivated. Its all in your brain. Whenever you have a goal to secure first position in exams, to lose weight, to learn a particular skill or language, to get rid of bad habits like smoking or drinking, Psychology helps us a lot. There are many techniques in Psychology that motivate us to achieve the required goal and to make our future life successful because when we are motivated rightly, we can achieve our desired goal.
  • You must have seen that some people greatly influence others with their personalities. They have a quality to lead a group. These skills are known as leadership skills which are important for everyone to survive in this world and to get success. We can acquire these leadership qualities in ourselves by giving sensible guidance to others, by solving the problems of our co-workers or social groups. For getting the leadership qualities, creativity is also important and all these skills are a part of human psychology.
  • Psychology helps us to understand people in a better way. Emotional quotient is used to measure this skill. If we are able to understand and control our emotions and the emotions of the people around us, we would always be happy in our life. We should always understand the problems of others to learn people's emotions in a better way.
  • Cognitive psychology has provided many techniques to get the skills of decision making. It teaches us to look at a problem from different point of views. The information provided by cognitive psychology helps us to live our life in a better way by providing us the skill of decision making.
  • Psychology helps us to be a good communicator. Good communication skills are always important to maintain a good relationship with our family and social groups. Non verbal communication is also very important.During communication, our gestures greatly affect the person who is interacting with us. We should always make an eye contact while communicating with others. These communication skills will definitely help us to make a good rapport with other members of the society.
  • Psychology is really helpful in improving our mental health as well as our physical health. Health psychology has given various strategies to deal with depression or stress and other treatments to keep you healthy. Now people understand the risk of unhealthy lifestyle and desire to live a healthy life for a better future.
