7. What are the different concerns about off-target edits by CRISPR-Cas when editing the human genome in embryos versus adult somatic cells?

Solutions

Expert Solution

when the gene is edited in the the somatic cell of an individual by CRISPR- Cas method, then it is found to be the restricted action in the somatic cell of a particular region in the body only. The whole individual do not Express such genes. And it cannot pass the the gene to the offspring.

But when the gene is edited in the embryonic stages, then the gene is found in all cells of the body. Because embryo will divide further to produce whole individual. That's why the modified cells are found in the whole body parts. It is also expressed in germ cell region. That's why an individual can pass the genes to the next generation too.

7. What is the primary trade-off that an accountant must consider when deciding whether to identify cost drivers? Is the cost/benefit of the process reasonable for more accurate cost behavior obtained. Will the cost driver identification provide different costs for different purposes. Will material related drivers be more accurate than labor-related drivers. Will the cost relationship be to complex to understand. There is no trade-off to consider using cost drivers.
