A person with type O blood has been involved in a car accident and excessive bleeding necessitates a blood transfusion. Due to an error by a careless laboratory technician, the person is given type B blood. Explain what will happen.
Question
O blood group do not have antigen but have B antibody and A anti ody. . On the other hand, B blood group have B antigen and B antibody. Therefore, when the person have given B blood to the person having B blood group , so as O blood group do not have any antigen , it is not able to aggltutanize with B and A antibodies. So, the antibody produced by B cells will start killing normal cells and lead to the killing of normal blood cells and the other cells of body that lead to the death of the person.
