Expert Solution

1. INTRINSIC SATISFACTION: INTRINSIC MEANS INTERNAL. INTRINSIC SATISFACTION MEANS THAT THE INTERNAL DRIVERS / NEEDS OF THE PERSON ARE FULFILLED AND HE IS SATISFIED. THIS MOTIVATES HIM TO WORK MORE. FOR EXAMPLE WHEN AN EMPLOYEE FEELS SATISFIED INTERNALLY ABOUT HIS JOB i.e. HE IS HAPPY TO DO HIS WORK, THEN HE WILL BE MOTIVATED MORE AND WILL STAY LATE UNTIL HIS WORK FOR THE DAY IS COMPLETED. SO MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS SHOULD BE DESIGNED IN SUCH A MANNER SO THAT THEY SATISFY INTERNAL NEEDS OF EMPLOYEES.

2. ECONOMIC REWARDS. WHEN A PERSON RECEIVES ECONOMIC BENEFITS BY COMPLETING A WORK, HE GETS MOTIVATED TO DO BETTER THAN BEFORE. IN CASE OF EMPLOYEES ECONOMIC BENEFITS CAN BE INCREASED SALARIES, PERKS, ALLOWANCES ETC. MANAGEMENT FROM TIME TO TIME, PROVIDE TO THEIR EMPLOYEES THESE BENEFITS APPRECIATING THEIR WORK.

3. SOCIAL RELATIONSHIP: WHEN EMPLOYEES ARE MORE ENGAGED AT WORK WITH THE CO-WORKERS, THEY BECOME MORE LOYAL EMPLOYEES. THEY ARE ABLE TO SHARE THEIR PROBLEMS, FIND SOLUTIONS, AND FOCUS ON THEIR WORK. THIS MAKES THE WORK MORE EASIER FOR THEM AND THEY ARE MOTIVATED TO WORK FREELY.

4. WORK ENVIRONMENT: THE ENVIRONMENT AT WORK SHOULD BE POSITIVE AND ENERGETIC. WHEN WORKERS WORK IN A POSITIVE ENVIRONMENT, THEIR THINKING CHANGES AND BROADENS THE SCOPE. THEY WILL BE MOTIVATED AND WILL GENERATE POSITIVE RESULTS. AN EXAMPLE TO MAKE WORK ENVIRONMENT POSITIVE IS TO LESSEN THE STRICTNESS ON WORKERS AND ALLOW THEM TO INTERACT WITH EACH OTHER.
