I am German to English translator. When I was in college, I was having a friend circle studying all different languages, coming from various states of India. India, my motherland has got so many regional languages. It is always wonderful to know this. I believe it is option C Innate mechanism - the knack of picking up any language, to read between the lines, to find of hidden meaning of phrases. All these subjective or vague intelligence is required for getting attracted towardds language. Motivation - In order to learn something motivation is required, but in order to be successful strong motivation is required. The motivation can be achieved in terms of operant conditioning such as grades. Or from parents, competitions, teachers etc.Right environment - Right environment would not necessarily mean any luxurious or going to that particular country. If the teacher is good , the educational institution is giving enough freeedom to implement ideas such as projects, celebrating the foreign festivals then these act as more source of motivation for learning language.
