Do you believe language meaning is innate? Explain your rationale
language is defined as the method of human communication, either spoken or written,
Language is an innate ability and is not developed through learning
To say that language is an innate ability and is not developed through learning, we need to look at the theorist arguments on language acquisition. One theorist argued that language is an innate ability, (Chomsky), another argued that it is acquired by reinforcement and repetition (Skinner), another argued that it was part of the overall development (Piaget) and yet another argued that it is learned through interaction (Bruner). Although each theorist produced differing views on language acquisition, the debate still remains as to whether language is an innate ability or it is learned.According to my view language is learned through the interaction because if a neonate of English spoken family is pampered at hindi spoken family he will speak hindi because it's the imitation of words said by others , hence it is a learned not an innate
