There are many ways in which religious systems reflect the societies in which they are found. Why is this the case? Discuss this in reference to at least two specific examples (e.g., gods, witchcraft, sorcery, rituals, worldview).
Religions are the greatest invention of human beings in order to feed the moral and spiritual values thus keep people in order. This means each society, civilization and region in the world has their own religion, Gods, practices and customs which is unique and different from others. People could imagine only up to their perception. So, the Gods they created were from their experience because whatever they feared or were not able to control, they made it into Gods. For example, when they feared heavy rain, they made a rain God and when they feared the scorching sun, they made a sun God. Some societies made those people who excelled in life and serving others into Gods. For example, Jesus Christ was a man who was raised to God because he was an excellent human being. Their rituals included most of their social practices that was present in those societies. For example, in Christianity, sprinkling the holy water is believed to drive the evil spirits away.
