Expert Solution

Motivation refers to the psychological processes that stimulate excitement and persistence of voluntary actions aimed at some goal. Because motivation can be highly individualized . Needs theories attempt to identify internal factors that motivate an individual's behavior and are based on the premise that people are motivated by unfulfilled needs. One of the most popular needs theories is Abraham Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory. Maslow proposed that motivation is the result of a person's attempt at fulfilling five basic needs: physiological, safety, social, esteem and self-actualization. According to Maslow, these needs can create internal pressures that can influence a person's behavior. Maslow believed people move through different stages of five needs that motivate our behavior. He called these needs physiological, safety, love and belonging (social), esteem, and self-actualization.

i would start with dissatisfaction people are always looking for something and never are really satisfied human beings are by nature unsatisfied once they achieve one thing they try to move on to the next level in order to achieve the equilibrium .when they don’t achieve the particular need they felt themselves in a state of disequilibrium, this disequilibrium creates tension in the human beings and forces them to reach to the next level to achieve other needs.   Same is the case with the needs of human being as everyone has the same needs as mentioned by Ibrahim Maslow-

I agree with Maslow's belief that all people are motivated by the same needs because it is human nature to be motivated and seek out each and every one of our own social status in the world; And that can only be done if each of the needs in Hierarchy are satisfactorily met so a continuation to all the other needs could also be met and obtained.

well the needs of every individual starts from the bottom of the needs shown need hierarchy model given by Maslow The first and the most Important need is Physiological needs . Physiological needs are those needs which every one required for survival such as air, food, water, shelter, clothing and sleep. these are the basic needs if these are not met then it is impossible for the person to think of other needs before achieving these needs everyone wants to live as these needs once fulfilled can help the people to move forward in the ladder of need model.you could think of yourself that if you do not have food to eat then how could we think of other needs .

Safety needs include those needs that provide a person with a sense of security and well-being. Personal security, financial security, good health and protection from accidents, harm and their adverse affects are all included in safety needs. social needs We purchase insurances, such as health and car, to protect ourselves should something unexpected occur.

Social needs, also called love and belonging, refer to the need to feel a sense of belonging and acceptance. Social needs are important to humans so that they do not feel alone, isolated and depressed. Friendships, family and intimacy all work to fulfill. If both the physiological and the safety needs are fairly well gratified, there will emerge the love and affection and belongingness needs.

Once love and acceptance has been met than the need to find one's place in society, one's identity, will eventually be seeked out; our own achievement, self-esteem, our social status in society, family, and friends. If all that has been acquired along with being respected and giving respects, I'd like to say a large percentage of people could settle for that and not want to pursue any further.

The Need For Self-Actualization: if all these needs are satisfied, we may still often (if not always) expect that a new discontent and restlessness will soon develop, unless the individual is doing what he, individually, is fitted for. A musician must make music, an artist must paint, a poet must write, if he is to be ultimately at peace with himself. What a man can be, he must be. He must be true to his own nature. This need we may call self-actualization.
