How can a company balance the need to protect its trade secrets with ensuring worker safety?
The trade secrets can be protected by the company without registration. These can be protected for an unlimited time period and does not require any procedural formalities. Thus it may continue for an indefinite time frame as long as the secret is not revealed or legally acquired by others and revealed to the public. These secret acts as lifeblood of the business operations and success of many ventures. Thus it is important for business to take protective measures with usage of the proper agreements with employees; implementing procedures and policies for the protection against theft, including handbook provisions for employees; educating human resource management and other staff about the proper administration of such agreements; and enforcing these procedures and policies. An appropriate nondisclosure agreement should be signed by the workers and the necessary disclosure protocols should be in place. Moreover the workers must be informed that unauthorized access or usage of trade secrets or breach in measures of security will result in appropriate discipline
