Reported incidence of bisexual attraction was much higher in females than in males, and exclusively homosexual attractions were rarer. The reasons for this are potentially cultural, but the researchers say that is ultimately unknown. Behavior that doesn’t align with stereotypical gender roles can be a predictor for non-heterosexuality in adulthood.
