Sydney Airport is an Australian publicly listed stapled entity that consists of Sydney Airport Limited and Sydney Airport Trust 1 (SAT1). The stapled entity generates its primary revenue through the ownership of Sydney Airport, where its head office is based. The dual stapled entity is listed on the Australian Securities Exchange under the code SYD. Sydney Airport employs approximately 440 people.

Product and Brand :

Sydney Airport Group holds a 100% interest in Sydney Airport and is responsible for managing the following facilities:

  • Runways: The airport has three runway networks the main north south runway (4km), parallel north south runway (2.4km) and the east west runway (2.5km).
  • Terminals: The airport has three passenger terminals and seven freight terminals. The passenger terminals consist of 31 international gates, 22 domestic gates and 14 Qantas domestic gates. The seven freight terminals are comprised of 5 international terminals and 2 domestic freight terminals.
  • Retail: The Group manages approximately 30,046 square metres of retail area in the airport, consisting of over 200 retail outlets in both the international and domestic terminals.
  • Car parks: The airport manages about 17,237 car park spaces.
  • Other: The Group also manages various facilities such as 6 car rental operators, 15 lounges and 387 check-in or service desks.
