Let up breakdown the Term Hybrid + Go-Kart before I elaborate about “How it is made and its specifications”
Any vehicle which utilize more than one form of onboard energy to achieve propulsion would be termed as “Hybrid”. And a “Hybrid Go-kart” is small suspension less vehicle in which power source is conventional IC engine and High voltage electric motor. Such vehicle optimize the power from the electric drive while moving around the city traffic and accelerate / hill climb using IC engine. This also give low fuel consumption and better mileage. In general it is proven that an hybrid engine can give a fuel economy upto 50Kms (35Km/Lit of fuel + 15 Km with full battery charged)
Main component of any Go-kart would comprise of
1. Chassis (Open, caged and straight type)
2. Steering system (Driver seat, Steering, Kingpins, Yoke, Stub Axles, wheels)
3. Transmission system ( Manual / Automatic)
4. Breaking system (Crank pulley, Centrifugal clutch, speed controller)
5. Fuel type (Battery + Petrol)
Step by step process of making a Hybrid Go-kart
1. Prepare the line diagram for your model and identify all the components which would be required for making the hybrid go-kart
2. Prepare a simple and effective design of go-kart to cater and accommodate all the components
3. Fabricate the frame
4. Procure the go-kart components and start building the Go-kart as per your line diagram and design model
5. Test drive to identify any glitch in the overall assembly
6. Go Race
