The management potential of future administrators was rated by a panel of three judges. Each judge rated a candidate on a scale of 1 (high performance) to 6 (low performance). However before using these ratings to choose a candidate, the firm wanted to check the reliability of the raters to see if there was a difference between the ratings of the judges. The data are included below. Many times one judge will be stricter on his/her rating of a candidate’s potential. Test to see if the individual ratings by all the judges are the same or if at least one is different from the others.
| Candidate | Rater 1 | Rater 2 | Rater 3 |
| A | 4.5 | 4.5 | 5.0 |
| B | 2.5 | 4.5 | 4.5 |
| C | 5.0 | 3.0 | 4.0 |
| D | 4.0 | 4.5 | 4.5 |
| E | 1.5 | 2.0 | 4.5 |
| F | 3.5 | 4.5 | 4.5 |
