AGILE PROJECT MANAGEMENT

An iterative approach to planning and guiding project process is referred as the agile project management.An agile project will completes in various small sectors.Each sector is iterations.Agile project management allows the project manager to deliver high-priority and high-quality work.The complete task will divided into sub-tasks and work over each sub-tasks.

Advantages :

The following are the major advantages of the agile project management

  • By deploying the project quicker our customers can get the value sooner
  • We waste only fewer resources because of working on up-to-date tasks.
  • It is possible to detect and fix issues faster.
  • It is good to adapt changes and it also responds faster.
  • No need to worry about the pre-mature optimization.
  • On bureaucracy and busywork , we need to spend only less time.
  • The cost is very less to this project management.

Disadvantages :

The following are the drawbacks of the agile project management.

  • It is difficult to measure the progress in the Agile project management.
  • The model needs the more time and energy because developers and customers must frequently interact each other.
  • Need a long term vision of project.
  • Products lacks cohesion and the users journey is fragmented because the design is fragmented.
  • Due to negative feedback the designers have to redevelop the experience over and over.
  • Products lacks over design from architecture point of view.
  • It is difficult to estimate the project cost.

  2. The style of leadership will be more commanding and controlling.
  3. The management will tell every one to "what to do".
  4. Planning Centric and plan driven method.
  5. Document driven and document Centric approach.

AGILE:-

  1. The will conduct many experiments to choose the best one amoung it.
  2. The interaction and various communication between the team members will going smoothly.
  3. It would having and self organizing approach,the team itself can organize their works.
  4. Agile products are more fluid than water fall products.
