Some of the challenges facing new graduates in seeking employment upon graduating from University are :

• As a new graduate, one shall have no real life experience which one can show while applying for a job. Companies always do prefer the employees they are hiring should have some experience of the job they are applying for.

This can be overcome by doing internship during the college/graduation.

• If got a job one would face a challenge about doing negotiations about the salary he would be receiving. While employer seeks some negotiations from you.

This can be overcome by learning negotiation skills.

• Before applying for a job, interview is always required. As a new graduate, one shall have poor interview skills and would not be able to get a good job.

To improve this skill one should practice communication skills.

• One should face lack of direction after passing the graduation and he would not be able to decide whether what to do.

One should take counciling for this.
