In the federalism there are atleast 2 tier of government should be exhist and jurisdiction of each tier are well defined in the constitution.

1-It safe the rights of people

2-The resources are distributed in very proper way between the central government and regional government.

3-Public participation is also increases in the federalism.

4-Due to federal structure it represents the diversity of the country.

5-Maintian good governance.

6-it prevent the tyranny.

7-it encourage to adopt a new innovative policy.

Cons are-

1-it can lead to confusion on the part of the citizens.

2-sometimes accountability or responsibility is not clear between federal and regional government.

3-it can lead to inequality between the states.

4-It can lead to conflict between the states.

5-Patriotism is also decreases.
