How the organization keeps its members informed of health care changes and changes to practice that affect the specialty area.

One of the key concerns in Health care organization is management of change. Because now a days there is evolution of high technology among health care field. So health care professionals should be ready to acquire and to maintain the expertise needed to undertake their professional tasks, and all are obligated to undertake only those tasks that are within their competence.

Change may be continuous, sporadic and occasional. Predictable change allows time for preparation. It is easy to accept and to work in accordance with it. But the unpredictable change is more difficult to respond to effectively. Since changes in healthcare occur so rapidly, they are less likely to be predictable.

Management of health change is about handling the complexity of the process. It is about evaluating, planning and implementing operations, tactics and strategies and making sure that the change is worthwhile and relevant.

Nursing is one of the most versatile occupations within the health care workforce. The nurses should be flexible in accordance with these changes. Hence selection of educated professional nurses are necessary.

Enabling nurses to practice to the full extent of their education and training can be a major step forward in meeting these challenges. Transformation of nursing practice is needed to improve care. The utilization of the full potential of nurses has increased the quality of care.

Professional development refers to continuing education and career training of a working person to develop new skills, stay up-to-date on current trends, and advance their career.

Continuing education is required for workers to increase their knowledge, skills and attitude. It helps the workers to become touch in with current trends.

Professional development is learning to earn or maintain professional qualifications such as academic degrees to formal coursework, attending conferences, and informal learning opportunities situated in practice.

It also allows employees to be more aware of changing trends and directions in an organization.

Professional Development Hours are awarded to a person based on contact hours of a presentation or training class. There are three main types of education. They are formal, informal and non-formal. Continuing education can help workers to stay current with the latest developments, technologies and best practices. Not only it improves the skill and success, it can also boost confidence and job satisfaction.
