How much responsibility should the federal government take in guaranteeing its citizens a minimum standard of living? How much is too much? Should we move even further in this direction (such as national health care)? Or should we move back to placing more emphasis on the state, local government, or on the individuals, themselves?

It is supposed that democracy is a blessing and most of the people in the world like democracy. In United States the Federal government has lots of duties to the citizens and all the duties are also performed properly to the citizen.

The basic duty of the Federal government is to provide the elemental needs of the citizens of US. It is the fundamental duty of the citizen and all the citizen must enjoy free Health Service.

The Federal government must provide freedom of speech freedom of religion freedom of profession to the citizen. It is the duty of the Federal government to create an atmosphere where all the children can grow spontaneously.

The Federal government provide individual security as well as the National security. It is the duty of the Federal government to implement law and order in the society so that citizen can be free from all types of injustice.

The Federal Government work keeping balance between state and central authority. The healthcare service is now very important and the responsibility of the health care should be maintained both by state authority and the central authority.
