Think about a negotiation in which you have been involved that yielded a win-win-win resolution. How did you get to the win-win-win solution? Think about a negotiation in which you have been involved that didn’t result in an agreement. Why do you think the negotiation wasn’t successful? What would have made it more successful?
Negotiations that I have been involved into and that yielded into win win situation was when I was negotiating for my salary enhancement with my employer and it resulted into win win situation for both because he wanted me to work for him and I wanted higher payment in return so, after negotiation for almost a month I was provided with the desired salary and my employer was happy to provide me with this salary because he thought I was a value for money kind of an employee and I would be generating more return and I will be beneficial to the overall company.
A negotiation which didn't result in to win was one with our supplier in which he was asking for bulk discount which our company could not afford at that point of time but the supplier did not stick with us and he changed in due course of action with another company because we could not provide him the discount so it was related to our pricing power which was Limited at that point of time and it was inefficiency of the part of the firm fot not providing desired discount because he was a value supplier so it ended in a loss for a firm .
