What is Equality and Injustice and what does it mean to you and our society?

Solutions

Expert Solution

In general the term 'equality' suggests a state of affairs where everyone gets equal treatment, equal opportunity. Sometimes it's not about equal treatment, but it's about treating people in a way that the outcome of the treatment can be the same. Whereas the term 'injustice' suggests unfairness, biasness, or may be an unjust act.

Equality and injustice both the terms seems paradoxical in nature, because former one talks about balancing act, which proposes a egalitarian society. Injustice can bring disappointment to the person to whom injustice is done as well as to the doer.

These words mean a lot to our society. Equality can bring lit of positive changes in our society and can bring happiness and harmony. Whereas injustice is completely opposite, in one sense it can dehumanise people of the society.
