Expert Solution

Shared values are the business core values which are often developed by the leaders in an organization and then adopted by the management and other employees of the organization. The core value gives overall guidance for the management and other members of the organization to make the correct decision in a given scenario. In my opinion the most efficient technique for establishing shared purpose will be engaging the company's employees in creating a list of values which define what business stands for. The corporate mission and vision statements of company motivate it's employees for their support and contribute to innovation for competitive advantage. Use both structured as well as unstructured opportunities to socialize with supervisors and colleagues. Moreover it is vital that the job profile should be aligned with the business goals. With the usage of a system of multiple levels voting the business can ensure the majority of the upper management agrees with shared values. They should work out for a unique, shared corporate language that depicts the value.
