How does the element of termination factor in your opinion on the ethical situation which referred to circumstances where it would be OK to accept a gift from a client/coachee?
Ethical behaviour reflects the conduct or values one which helps individuals to reflect on the background of knowledge, values personal goals, morals and personality. The element like its termination plays a significant role but ethically it may not be proper because we are not to judge the strength of any person because every man will have his or her inbuilt or hidden talents. When these hidden talents are utilized sometimes he or she may be rewarded by clients. So accepting a gift may not be wrong because it is not done with intention or wanting to get a gift. In this ground if anyone is terminated then the ethical concept depends on individuals feelings and emotions. Whenever termination takes place he or she will be demotivated which reduces the contribution to change and the hidden talents will not have any scope to prosper. Termination in any organization creates a staffing gap. Where the company would lose the best of the best hand as he or she might be good with the talents which made him or her to receive the reward. Based on values or ethical ground termination is bad and receiving gifts is not wrong.
