Do you think it's possible that your brain "knows" the right options to chose even if those aren't the ones you consciously pick, or do you think there has to be another explanation? Do you find this type of research unethical/creepy or are you okay with it? Can you see other potential uses for it, whether good or bad?
If a person is a country, then brain is its capital. Decisions are taken in the capital and executed by the members of the country in different parts, that’s our body parts. The answer is yes, our brain controls the sensory, auditory and decision making part of our body. For example if you check a person who is brain dead, they don’t have any emotions, feelings or pain and this proves that a person is alive when the brain functions, otherwise it’s not a person, rather a thing. There is also another part in the brain called autonomous nervous system which acts even without the body becoming aware of the situation and it’s mostly intuitive.
All these are known facts, but brain is one area where the scientists are not able to penetrate as much as the other parts of the body. In my opinion, it’s not unethical because if the world has to progress healthily, research on the brain needs to continue because it’s not just physiological but psychological too. All the mental illnesses are related to the brain and nervous system that are obviously connected to the brain.
