What does Willingham mean when he says "we are naturally curious even though we're not good thinkers"? Do you agree with this statement based on what you read in this chapter? Why or why not?
People are normally curious about everything and everyone which doesn’t mean that they are going to use them to arrive at a better conclusion. People are curious to know what’s going on just for fun and they don’t use that information to enhance their cognitive ability. If we look at the social media trend, people keep forwarding messages and information without even read it, think about it but just keep forwarding them. We look at the fun element and entertainment part of the information they look for without applying their thoughts on it. That’s why people keep believing in rumors and information which they like to know.
