What does Socrates mean when he says that “a good man cannot be harmed either in life or in death”?
Socrates made perfectly clear what he taught which depends on how you define the nature of good.He made us a favour in clarifying the meaning of good and belief in immortality and eternal truths.
It also seems to be self evident in which he defines goodness in terms of virtue. He is very clear in his speaking that nothing amounting to actual harm can be caused by another in the sense of causing one to loose value.
