The Toledo Mud Hens has been the most successful minor team of baseball in the country. As they dont have the star power they took the help of marketing to promote themselves. They advertise the games as wholesome,affordable family fun, which attracts them being affordable. They don't have restriction on ages of people,which in turn increases the crowd.

Attention is being sought by way of selling merchandise like tee-shirts, hats, food etc, which are bought by the fans, in turn being an indirect promotion.
