Pico says that for the rapid globalization the people of the world have been mixed up. There is no discrimination or distinction. From his own life history Pico says that the world will he a fantastic place. There will be no special culture. In the world a mixed culture will be established. So the event like September 11 is not loss of a particular nation. It is the loss of the whole world as all are mixed up. According to him the concept of the terms like 'home' has been changed as there is no particular home of an individual in a particular place.
He says that for the globalization the people of one country is not confined in a particular nation. There has been change of culture and the young generation is influenced by the culture that attracts them. They are not influenced by their own culture. Again among the immigrants there is a mixed culture. He points out the culture of New York.
