Depression = Depression is serious condition but its is commonly present in mane person and it is a condition of feeling sadness for long time duration and its affect our physical health , long time depression goes to suicide conditon.

Depression is not a disease but it can cause cause many abnormalty in our body so we need to provide a group therapy to a depressed patient and motivate them and create confidence and self esteem in this patient.

* For participate in group activities we need to provide many advise to patient and tell them about the important of life .

- Established a therapeutic communication - It is a interpersonal relationship between adviser and depressed person, Throgh this communication we understood patient need and actuall problem, assess the patient perception and assess the patient perception of the problem.

- Maintain a social realtionship which initiated with the purpose of friendship , socialization, enjoyment or accomplishing a task.

- Providing and maintaining a safe and conflict free environment through role modeling and group leadership.

- Encourage the patient to participate in decision making functions.

- Maintain a healthy relationship between this person and other group member by establishing a therapeutic communication.

- Provide a therapeutic community to depressed patient to develop a harmonious relationship with other members of the group.

- Develop a leadership quality in this person then he gain self confidence and also learn to understand and solve problesm of self and others.
