Non verbal communication primarily refers to the body language, but some cases such as layout of a room, or someones appearance can also be communicate messages.
In non verbal communication, there are some factors include in body language such as Eye contact,Body posture,Touch,Facial expression.

1.EYE CONTACT

Eye contact refers to a non verbal communication which impact strongly by social behaviour.
In healthcare organisation, a nurse must be in good eye contact with the patient but do not stare.
In non verbal communication, Eye contact play an important role in maintaining the flow of conversation and for measure the patients intrest and response.

2. BODY POSTURE

Body language or a body posture is refers to the type of non verbal communication in which physical behaviours, as opposed to words, are used to express the information.
Body posture generally refers to how we sit or stand.
In healthcare organisation when we will communicate with the patient , we bring our face to the same level as the patients face and do not tower above them if he or she is in chair or in a bed.
We must be relaxed , not uneasy and impatient.
Body posture break the barriers and helps to form good communication between patient and nurse.

3. TOUCH

Touch is also one type of non verbal communication.It is very powerful means of communication.
In healthcare, lightly touching a patient hand can bring your affection for them.
In a health and social environment , it is very important to think about the convey before touching the patient.
An arm around a child who is admitted in hospital , can go long way to making them feel better than previous.
But in the case of teenager, it might feel frighten by such contact from an older person.

4. FACIAL EXPRESSION

Facial expression is also one type of non verbal communication.
The person face is extremly expressive and able to transport countless emotion without saying a word.
In healthcare , we can often tell what patient is feeling by their eyes.
Our eyes become very wide when we are excited or happy or intrested in someone.
In healthcare, movement of the face of a patient indicate how he/she is feeling.A tense facial expression refers someone is sad.
