Types of common injuries in badminton are:
1. Injury of Rotator Cuff :
In this type of injury pain in Shoulder may occur due to continuous
r stresses on shoulders during sessions of Badminton.
Prevention: Exercises for Shoulder stabilization under the
supervision of trained Physiotherapist.
2. Patella Tendonitis
In this degeneration of the Tendon of patella occur.
Prevention: Patella Tendon Strap is useful & effective in this injury.
3. Tennis Elbow
In this injury forearm tendons degenerated.
Prevention:
• Use correct size racquet to prevent injury.
• Elbow Straps is also effective in it.
4. Sprained Ankle
Sprained Ankle is one of the most common injury in this game. In it
ligament & soft tissues of ankle are damaged.
Prevention:
• Wear the footwear of correct size and design.
• Ankle Brace & Taping on the ankle can also
helpful.
5. Achilles Tendonitis
• High strain on the Tendon of Achilles can cause this
injury.
Prevention: Avoid the sudden rise in levels of activity.
