What does White mean when he writes that “All human behavior consists of, or is dependent upon, the use of symbols”?
Symbols are objects , ideas or different things (substantial or immaterial) that are remote , emotional , and archeologically out of reach however that characterize all discourse and culture of a general public . They are utilized as a methods for correspondence and have different degrees of significance .
In this way ,all human behavior comprises of, or is needy upon, the utilization of symbols. The symbol is the universe of humanity.
Thus , White mean when he writes that “All human behavior consists of, or is dependent upon, the use of symbols” ie. Human behaviour is symbolic behaviour and symbolic behaviour is human behaviour.
