The nurse and patient must work together to acheive the desired goals and nurse can give the comprehensive nursing care or holistic care
CONCEPTS ARE;
-Nurses have the capacity to make a therapeutic relationship with the patients
-Nursing is an art and it is a healing art
-Nursing is the process of assisting the patients who is acute or chronic sick
-Nurse have to help the clients who needs help or assistance
-Interpersonal theory have three phases and the phases are;
-ORIENTATION PHASE-the process of detecting the problems
-IDENTIFICATION-patient have the capacity to face the problems
-EXPLOITATION PHASE-here using problem solving skills
-According to this theory nursing is a type of interpersonal process that help to keep the patients in comfortable situations
-Nursing is the process interaction or therapeutic relations between two or more persons and work together for acheiving the desired goals
-Nursing is the process of working together with the patients and both become matured and may develop their knowledge levels
-For acheiving the goals they have to make a comfortable series of pattern.

Therapeutic relationship is a type of relationship between the nurse and patients .The nurse have to maintain proper communication with the clients and provide care according to the patients needs

1-PRE-INTERACTION PHASES
-start to develop therapeutic relations
-nurse have to to identify the clients enviornmental staus
-identify the patients needs
-assess the patients strength and weakness
-nurses can explain the professional goals ,guidlines of care,importance of communication etc
-the nurse can collect all the informations from the patients
-encourage the patients to express his or her feelings
-the nurse can realize her own professional strength and limitations
-the barriers in this phases includes andger,depressions,anxiety etc
2-INTRODUCTORY OR ORIENTATION PHASE
-start to establish communication with the patient
-usually there is less conflicts
-start to recognize their roles and responsibilities
-understand the importance of rapport ,trust ,acceptance ,empathy,genuiness etc
-start to work together to meet the goals
-start to develop desired goals according to the clients needs
-set the nursing interventions
-nurses create a supportive enviornment
3-WORKING PHASE
-the process of all the relevant data
-here the nurses can develop constructive coping mechanism skills
-assessing the range of patients behaviour and insight

4-TERMINATION PHASE
-most important phase
