What does transformational politics mean?
TRANSFORMATIONAL POLITICS:
It means the introduction of new or alternative political science which is more value based, more practical, uses more knowledge and consciousness. Transformational politics promote sustainability and democracy in a country.
Since ages, power has been used to control the people. Common People thinks that their interests has been serves by the same criteria as it serve the interests of the superior group of society but they can’t see the real intentions and end results. We think that we are supporting our own interest by electing a party to run the country but actually we are not supporting our own interest. We are manipulated by few people and their power in such way that we can’t see the beyond of that. To bring changes in the pattern of power and politics, people must look forward towards the transformation. Transformational Politics means to address the divided way of thinking in terms of bringing changes at grass root level. Transformational politics means to discover the best in all situations together rather focusing on their own problem solutions. Our current politics divide people in way that creates problems which cannot be solving on its own. Hence society has to find a way together through transformational politics, through new way of thinking, by widen consciousness to appreciate the needs of all. New ways of thinking needed to bring transformational politics. We believes what media owned by elite class of society want us to believe and all the forces like electoral politics, technological power, media and large consumer economy are contributing it in. Transformational politics means to bring transformation in power, in authority in political system to enable public to build their lives, where the interest of all serves equally.
Transformational politics is the process of change in society where common people can get aware of actual agenda behind any policy, any transformation, amendments by their own consciousness and take their own decisions for betterment of all.
