ans- 1) e.coli is the very common pathogen which is causative agent of various types of diseases. it lives on the leaves of the lettuce as it gets nutrients from it. it stick with the abdominal walls and causes food poisioning. to prevent it the leaves of the lettuce should be properly washed or boiled.
2) salmonella get linked to infant food when the water used for washing of raw food material or cleaning of bottles is having the spores of salmonella. it gets incorporated in the abdomen along with the food and causes diaorrhea and fever. to prevent salmonella infection the clean and boiled water should be used.
3) listeria is an organisms which is commonly found in the poultry and dairy animals and their chicken and secreted milk contain spores or whole organism, so these are present in raw milk of infected animal. after reaching the digestive system these causes disease after an incubation period. to prevent it from spreading the milk or chicken should be properly boiled.
4)if people infected with norwalk like virus prepare oyster which also may be infected then the food will have spores as the oysters are cooked alive. these causes various disease associated with gastrointestinal tract . a proper cleanliness can help in preventing the infection.
