What does it mean when one says that the production of cDNA is an exception to the central dogma of molecular biology?

Solutions

Expert Solution

Central dogma follows a unidirectional formation of protein as mentioned below:

DNA > mRNA > Protein

While the cDNA is formed from the mRNA as

mRNA > cDNA

which is like the opposite direction than what is seen in central dogma.
