The following factors are considered for the equipment selection in container handling-

1- Procurement plans- It should have a proper and effective procurement plan for construction of terminal facility in order to implement the function of terminal equipment in detailed design. It should have a plan regarding the procuremen of resources in advance before initiate with its process. The more effective the plan is the better will be its implementation occur

2- Transport Facilities- As transport facilities is an important factor that need to be considered in order to assure the quantity size limit, handling capacity, handling speed, cost, loads to land limits and the power requirement and other working constraints in order to ensure that what kind of transportation mean is suitable for and to avail the facility of transportation.

3- Quality of the equipment- As the deployment equipment is designed with an aim to create cargo transportation in order to balance the cargo flow and for purpose of which the quality of equipment need to be considered. The better the quality of the equipment the better will be its performance. The quality should be such that it can enhance the overall performance of the whole process. The size, weight, color, capacity are all included in the quality that need to be considered
