Doctor patient relationship is the relationship between doctor and patient that is created during the stay of patient in the hospital.

It need to be maintained because patient is completely new to the hospital environment and is very anxious about his care.

Client expects that the treating person must understand the pain he is suffering from and should give rational treatment.

Physicians should instill confidence and reassure patient and never be arrogant to the patient. Also should not discriminate on any grounds.
