what is the clinical description of Rheumatic fever condition?
Rheumatic fever is an inflammatory reaction. It results from inadequately treated strep throat or scarlet fever.It causes inflammation of the heart, blood vessels, and joints. Pain occurs in one joint and migrates to another joint.
Symptoms include; fever and painful tender joints. Sometimes people may experience pain in the chest or joints.fatigue, inability to exercise, fast heart rate, murmur, palpitations, multiple joint inflammation, rashes, or sore throat.
Causes. Group A streptococcus infection.
Risk factors include; family history, type of strep bacteria, environmental factors.
