  The media in the area recently have been indicating COVID has targeted specific cultures like blacks and Hispanics. What do these ethnicities have to do with COVID and would this qualify as a social determinant?

Indeed it is true that COVID 19 has certainly infected specific ethnicities than many others in the world.This is due to the environment where they live in.For instance in some African countries the standard of living is too poor that it even fall before the lowest point.Hence , people from these places are prone to be infected easily or even loss thier lives.

What do these ethnicities have to do with COVID

Though it is an unfortunate situation,we must help eachother to tackle this pandemic specifically for specific ethnicities who suffers more due to it,
- by availing various health support like an easy access to a local clinic or a hospital whenever required
-by seeking support and help from various organisations like local church and non govermental institutions in order to expand assistance for the community
- educate people to involve in safe practices like using a mask and cleansing hands often with a sanitiser and so on.

various studies prove that social determinants has a significant role in the health outcomes of a particular ethnicity or a community . as a result we must reach in to a conclusion that it would qualify as a social determinate in case of COVID .
