As we know that body needs so many nutrients that provides energy for the maintenance of life and for growth. It is found in food that are used by the body to maintain health. There are two types of nutrients micronutrient and macronutrient.
Macronutrients are those nutrients that the body needs in very large amount for provide energy. It includes carbohydrates, protein and lipid.
Micronutruents are those substance which required in very small amount for body. The main function of micronutruents are cofactor of enzymes. It is one of the major group of nutrients that our body needs. It includes Protein, vitamins and minerals. Protein needs in higher amount than vitamins. Vitamins are very necessary for immune function, production of energy, and other function like vitamin A, vitamin B, Vitamin B12, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Vitamin K (Orange, Milk, Egg, Nuts, Fish, Green vegetable, Fruits) Minerals play an very important role for growth and various other processes like calcium, potassium, sodium.
