Solutions

Expert Solution

Democratic peace theory is an economic theory which posits that democracies are hesitant while engaging in any in armed conflict in comparison to other identified democracies. Marxist/Leninist theory believes that the modern war occurs due to the economic imperatives of capitalist societies and inequitable wealth distribution among them.

I am in a support of Democratic Peace Theory. The most appealing in the democratic peace theory I found is its simplicity. The theory provides a clear explanation encapsulated in the bold statement that democracies do not fight each other appeals to both the public as well as the academic. The former can easily relate to the straightforward idea and the latter has to provide its acceptance to the value in the inherent parsimony. It constitutes its main strength, making it a popular and engaging perspective on the global relations. The next strength lies in it's principle that is one of the very few empirical theories in global relations. The ways striking features of the democratic peace theory are formulated are very impressive. The scope of its descriptive value also makes for another strong point. Another merit in the democratic peace theory is the normative side of the theory
