Assume you are a Marxist – respond to the following problems, and how your perspective either doesn’t lead to these problems of resolve them – the devolution of Marxist regimes into totalitarianism, the free-rider problem, the problem of innovation.
Marxism is a method of socioeconomic analysis that views class relations and social conflict using a materialist interpretation of historical development. The theory says, society's classes are the cause of struggle and that society should have no classes.
Devolution of Marxist Regimes in Totalitarianism:
Totalitarianism is a political system or form of government that prohibits opposition parties, limits individual opposition to the state and its claims, and exerts an extraordinary degree of control over public and private life.
The problem of innovation: - Marxists have thrived on a number of concepts based on the ideas of living work and self-activity that open the door to research on innovation. This includes the concepts of self-esteem, constitution and biological power. It also provides conceptual support for studying innovation projects that seek to escape through the capital.
The problem with the free-rider: - The problem with the free-rider is a problem in the economy. Free driving prohibits the production and consumption of goods and services by conventional free-market methods. For the free driver, there is little incentive to contribute to a collective resource as he can enjoy its benefits even if they do not. The problem with free riders can be overcome with measures that public users can pay well. Such measures include government action, social pressure and debt collection - in specific situations when markets have found a way to do so.
