Under what conditions might you expect an authoritiarian peace (one that could parallel democratic peace theory) to come forth?

Authoritiarian peace :

It happens when the leader tend to dictate the policies and procedures and also set the targets to follow and just merely give orders which are followed without any participation of people at lower levels.

Applicability of Authoritarian style -

• At TIME OF EMERGENCY : maximum time when there is any emergency or changes are to be made on the spot than authoritarian style is best as things and policies have to be changed as per time and in times like now of pandemic, lockdown all over is a great example of it
• FEW PROFESSIONS : like those of construction , manufacturing and also in military many a times decision are to be made urgently and efficiently so it can be applicable there
• TEAM LEADERS OR MENTORS : many a times people who are the guiders tend to be authoritiarian in there approach to inculcate traits like discipline, effeciency, proper management skills etc which might not be easily acceptable to learners so authoritiarian approach is best applicable

How states following Authoritarian style is at peace :

• WINNING COALITION - are one of type of authoritiarian , as states which have larger winning coalition tend to bring peaceful dispute resolution as they are able to give public goods that are outcome of territorial concessions in dispute settlement
• SWORDS INTO PLOWSHARES ,2015 - might be unrealistic that Dr. Ron Paul a former US Congressman and Presidential candidate , favoured it by saying that dictators can fit in any type of government as they lead the to protect and control people to establish peaca via economic means and use of force
• VIA CLEARITY IN PROSPECTIVE - they are well known and effecienct enough to inspire ,motivate and influence people people to work in one particular direction thereafter there is no conflict as CLEARITY in view is bought by the state therefore, restoring peace. HOWEVER ;
• MONADIC EXPLAINATION - as democratic states have less probability to go out for war with non democratic nations,though has no such evidence to support it and as such Democratic nations tend to stay away from wars or avoid war raising conditions and democratic are possibly likely to win over authoritiarians
• DYADIC EXPLAINATION - democracy can establish seperate and joint peace with other democratic states but when autocracy is implied , as it interstates rivalries in democracy dyads will fall, as they have mutual commitments and obligations. Restoring peace

Conclusively , being parallel to the democratic theroy ,it states that democratic should have economic interdependence with non democratic can have better outcome as it will mediate the strategic uncertainity and misperception
