Jeremy Bentham, John Howard, Cesare Beccaria and William Penn.
Jeremy Bentham is a advocate,social reformer, philospher and the founder of mordern utilitarianism. His notable works are he advocated for economic and individual freedom, women rights, animal rights, homosexual acts etc and as a social reformer he called for abolishon of slavory, death penalty and physical punishment of children. His auto icon is in public display at University college of London. Australian Funder IMF changed his name to Bentham IMF in 2013.
John Howard was an Australian politician and 25th PM of Australia. He was a key figure in Liberal Party of Australia and also elected as the president of that party. His major policies during his tenure include New economic policy and Social agenda. He created a free market agenda by abolishing labour government and also made many other reforms.He worked 4 times as the PM of Australia and a noteable figure in Australian politics.
Cesare Beccaria is the one of the greatest thinkers in the Age of enlightenment. He is noteably called as the father of criminal law and criminal justice. He was one of the first persons who are against and death penalty and torture. He wrote an article on crimes and punishments which shows that criminal justice should conform on rational principles. His influence is extended in shaping US constitutional rights and bill of rights.
