As education level rises girls become more informed about causes of diseases and thus diseases will be reduced
Labour force participation increases resulting in more GDP
Income level of individual house increases and so does their purchasing power
As mothers become educated the welfare of children increases as per various studies
An educated mother can teach her children better. Thus overall education level increases.
It makes girls independent financially
It increases dignity and honour of women
Some of the political and social tradeoffs are- men loose political power as women become educated.patriachy is curtailed. Further in some developing countries girls going to school are frowned upon. It is considered against traditions. So political party or rulers will face opposition and loss of votes initially. Initially also girls going to school may face mild form of social boycott or loss of respect in society. The govt has to spend more on education and thus resources for other sectors become scare.
