Subject: Colleen Warren - Web Content Manager Position
Dear Hiring Manager,
To express my interest in the position of Web Content Manager listed on Monster.com, I am writing. I have the experience of building massive health-based content sites focusing on customers. While there has been much of my experience in the business world, I appreciate this sector's social value and I am sure that my business experience will be an asset to your company.
My duties included creating and managing: editorial voice and design of the website; editorial calendars; and planning and development of daily content for various websites.
I have worked closely with healthcare professionals and medical editors to help them deliver the best information possible to a knowledgeable user audience. I have also helped doctors use their medical content to write text that is user-friendly and easily understandable.
Experience taught me how to build strong relationships within a company with all of the divisions. I have the ability to work as well as cross-team inside a team. I am able to work with software developers to solve technical problems and to incorporate technical improvements. I am sure that I will collaborate with engineering teams to incorporate design and technical enhancements, and track site statistics and optimize the search engine.
Thank you for your consideration.
